At the end of a 15-meter long majestic tunnel leading down into the bowels of the earth and flanked by exquisite, classical marble statues, is the impressive vastness of The Montekristo Wine Vaults. The Vaults are actually made up of four wide halls separated by sumptuous arches, under a canopy of crafted mahogany ceilings, reflected on translucent marble flooring. Wrought iron chandeliers provide the main lighting, while hidden sources of lights create a magical atmosphere.

Mysterious tunnels, hewn out of the living rock, fan out on three sides. One of these tunnels, Calypso’s Lair can easily be the exotic setting for large events, while the others are intimate and suggestive alcoves, ideal for relatively small groups. With a capacity for 2,500 guests, the Vaults can accommodate very large events and banquets and are considered as the primary venue at Montekristo Estates, hosting various events and activities, mainly receptions and gala dinners. This venue is also equipped with a separate satellite kitchen.

Revolving around a charming central pavilion and supported by five classical columns, The Renaissance is a marvellous, all-marble jewel box, decorated with exquisite mosaic reproductions of renaissance paintings by Giorgione, Caravaggio and other great masters.

Designed to accommodate some 500 seated guests and over 2,500 standing, this venue is equipped with the latest state-of-the-art light and sound systems, and together with an elevated DJ booth, can easily be adapted into a unique club ambience. The Renaissance has its own separate entrance, but can also be accessed from the Wine Vaults through Calypso’s Lair. The blending of these three venues create a uniquely mythical setting, with unending possibilities for very large events and after-dinner parties for large groups.
