This 400-year-old farmhouse has been converted into a traditional Maltese villa where the charm of the old meets the practicality of the new. The arched, spacious halls decorated with antique furniture, paintings, old photos and indoor plants provide the perfect setting for guests to socialise and enjoy themselves in an elegant setting. The accompanying garden, with its parterres and secluded nooks is especially suited for open air receptions. The latest addition to the garden has been Sqaq Mdina, a replica of a typical alley in Mdina, Malta’s charming old capital.

Annexed to a 16th century vault, is a chapel dedicated to the Flight of the Holy Family to Egypt. The narrow facade ensures it will not be dominated be the large warehouses vaults and embraces all the typical elements of a larger domineering chirch. This demure structure makes this a unique and intimate venue. In combination with the Sagrestia Vault, the chapel can be utilised as a receiving area; an exciting entrance displaying an exhibition or an intimate cocktail reception area following a film premiere or concert. It is a truly little gem on the Valletta Waterfront.
Renowed for its versatility, the Magazino Hall produly displays its historical features from a glorious past. Situated just below the famous Valletta bastions, the Magazino Hall was built in 1727 as part of the original building where vats stored oil for street lamps. In the middle of the 19th century gas lamps were introduced in the harbour area and the building was incorporated within the island’s first power house. Once inside, there is an impressive arched ceiling and the indigenous yellow limestone glistens with the cast of soft lighting. An adjoining outdoor courtyard is convenient for use as a breakout area. Natural rooftop skylights and versatile area can comfortably accomodate 500 to 600 persons standing.
